The Pediatric WWAMI Program encompasses Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho, "WWAMI". In the Pediatrics WWAMI program, there are 38 teaching sites, more than 300 volunteer clinical faculty and many more educators teaching in the WWAMI region. There are currently 5 sites that can have visiting professors.

The WWAMI program's purpose is to provide access to publicly supported medical education across the five-state WWAMI Student Travel. As a student at the University of Washington School of Medicine, you will be expected to travel the five-state WWAMI region to complete required clerkship rotations (including the WRITE program) during your Patient Care and Explore & Focus phases of the curriculum.
